In her candid interview with InStyle, Twain opened up about making new music and embracing her role as an ‘auntie’ in the music industry by inspiring younger artists.

The multiplatinum superstar – who is gearing up for the release of her new album, Queen of Me, on February 3 – went on to discuss her passion for being the music industry’s resident ‘auntie.’
‘Artists will ask for advice or will share stories and I feel a little bit like an aunt in a way. It sort of makes me feel auntie-ish, which I like. I enjoy it. I’m a nurturing person and I like to share my experiences,’ Shania said.
Twain said that failing to pass on her life lessons to the next generation of up-and-coming singers would be like ‘dying with a good recipe,’ and she spoke about how much she enjoys the admiration of other artists.
‘I think for anyone who has inspired people over many years to watch it happening, to feel the gratification, to accept the compliment in person, it’s just so rewarding. It’s very humbling and I enjoy it.’
